ANNIE

Annie’s story is one of resilience, and she’s come out of it with the biggest, warmest heart. She was abandoned in a colony and settled in as best as she could, but after a terrifying poisoning incident, she was rushed to the vet. She recovered like a champ and was returned to the colony, but summer brought new challenges. She suffered from heat stroke and was found limping, so back she went to the vet and then to foster care, where she’s been for about a year. Now, with some TLC, Annie’s stronger than ever, and while she has a bit of a delicate knee, she’s all set for a forever home.

Annie is truly the cuddliest cat! She’ll wrap herself around your arm, your lap, even your head – anywhere she can fit, she’ll snuggle in close. She’s a little shadow with the softest purrs, and she’ll follow you around, always happy to be near. Annie’s also smart as a whip and knows her limits – she respects her scratching posts and boxes, never the furniture.

She’s a gentle soul and a little wary of loud noises, so things like vacuums or hairdryers can make her a bit nervous. But give her a cozy spot, and she’ll happily relax until the noise passes. She might be shy with new people at first, but give her time, and she’ll be cozying up to visitors just as warmly as she does with you.
