Rescued from the streets of Abu Dhabi as a tiny 4-week-old kitten, Fidget has grown into a charming and affectionate feline. This boy is all about snuggles, love, and a little splash of adventure! Nicknamed "Squidgy" for his adorable habit of melting under gentle strokes, Fidget loves being brushed and cuddled. He’ll happily curl up next to you in bed, wrapping you in a warm embrace with his paws.

Fidget’s days are filled with simple pleasures.  His mornings start with an eager wait for breakfast, a delicious portion of wet food, followed by a laid-back day lounging and grazing on dry food. When the evening rolls around, he’s right there for supper, savoring every bite. And then there’s his adorable quirk - he prefers to drink water straight from the tap or even a watering can, because why settle for ordinary when you can have extraordinary?!

But what truly sets Fidget apart is his love for affection. His nickname, “Squidgy,” perfectly captures his tendency to melt into a pile of purring contentment whenever he’s brushed or petted. He thrives on human interaction, often snuggling right next to you in bed, his soft purrs will lull you to sleep. And don’t be surprised if he claims your lap or curls up at your feet—he loves to be close to his hoomans!

Playtime is another highlight of Fidget’s day. He’s gentle and curious, always ready to chase a wand toy or bat at a dangling string. His playful nature is balanced by a calm and placid demeanor, making him an ideal companion for someone seeking both fun and relaxation.

While Fidget gets along well with laid-back (non dominant) feline companions, he doesn’t always see eye-to-eye with dominant male cats, which has led to a few scuffles in the past. For this reason, he’d do best in a home where he’s either the only cat or where his housemates are equally easygoing (and been with other cats before). He hasn’t been tested with dogs, but his calm nature suggests he could adapt with proper introductions to a dog that has been with feline company before. Older children who understand and respect his gentle spirit would also make wonderful companions.

Fidget’s ideal home is a peaceful environment with plenty of love and plenty of affection. Whether it’s chatting with him as he lounges on the couch or letting him drink from the tap, his new family will quickly learn that life with Fidget is full of joyful moments. Children: Calm, older kids (12+) who understand gentle pet handling. 

Other Pets: Would do well with laid-back cats but prefers not to compete with another alpha male. 

Dogs: Unknown, but his laid-back nature suggests he could adapt with careful introductions. 

Indoor/Outdoor: Fidget enjoys a mix of indoor coziness and supervised outdoor exploration. Note that your home must be away from rail tracks and busy roads.
