Meet Luna – The Little Shadow with a Wagging Tail

Luna is a 7-month-old muted white calico with a heart as soft as her fur. Even in her colony, she stood out—not for being shy or skittish, but for rolling onto her back and asking for belly rubs. Taken in for TNR, it quickly became clear that she was far too affectionate to be released back.

Now in a foster home, Luna has proven to be an incredibly loving and devoted companion. She follows her foster dad everywhere, always wanting to be close. She adores cuddles, happily sleeps next to her human, and has a unique way of showing affection—she never bites, even when stressed. Instead, she gently licks fingers as if to reassure herself and others. And when she’s happy or playing? She wags her tail like a little dog! We suspect she may have been raised around dogs before being abandoned.

Luna’s friendly and easygoing nature makes us believe she’ll do well in a home with children, other cats (with the right introduction), and even cat-friendly dogs. She has also been given a clean bill of health, with the vet noting her impressively strong teeth—always a relief when rescuing a stray.
